AmaZix is excited to announce that we have a new Head of Marketing. Welcome to the team Al Leong; it is both an honor and pleasure to have you on board. 


An honor because your credentials are phenomenal. 


A pleasure because despite all of your experience and achievements, you are an amazing and down-to-earth guy. So, you fit in perfectly with the rest of the team!


Without further ado, let us brag on Al's behalf. We think it will become quite apparent that our clients will continue to be in the best hands!


Al has 29 years' of award-winning experience in technology strategic marketing roles across multiple industries from technology and education to entertainment, energy, life sciences, and biopharma. Al's clients have included many industry giants, including Adobe, Apple, Microsoft, HP, Disney, Sony, Siemens, and a couple of government departments, including the US Department of Defense. Further to his impressive industry experience, Al has an MBA under his belt from the University of Toronto.


Al has a great expanse of entrepreneurial experience and is the CEO of S4FEChain. He has acted as an advisor to a half dozen blockchain firms in Europe, Asia, and the USA. His consultancy has covered all aspects of marketing execution and planning and has included managing investor relations and fundraising for clients with large investor and blockchain databases. He was responsible for raising USD 31 MM through his connections with blockchain influencers, investors, and financial executives worldwide. 


We told you Al was impressive and a nice guy too. He has a passion for social causes and community development, evidenced by his active involvement in various non-profit organizations--with roles in governance, fund development, and marketing--with Vancouver CrimeStoppers, Burnaby Hospice Society, AIDS Vancouver, American Marketing Association, Vancity, Human Rights Campaign Atlanta and the Canadian Employee Relocation Council.
