Marco Tullio Giordano is a qualified lawyer in Italy, based in Milan and co-founder of LT42 - one of the first italian legal tech companies. He’s specialized in computer related criminal law, ISP liability, cybersecurity, privacy and data protection. He’s ISO/IEC 27001:2014 lead auditor and UNI 11697:2017 certified data protection officer. He works as outside counsel for a number of leading web companies and as compliance officer for some well-known crypto asset providers, managing Law Enforcement liaison, data protection and anti money laundering issues. He also provides consultancy for blockchain and crypto oriented startups, with particular reference to KYC/AML obligations, privacy and data protection issues and widely legal compliance.
He has worked with the IT Law Department at the University of Milan since 2005 and has been a PhD student at the University of Milan-Bicocca. The author of a number of publications concerning cybercrime and privacy issues, he also contributes online, with articles and comments on the law and new technology.
